We Start with a Thorough One-on-One Conversation
Most of our patients have been to many other doctors looking for answers before they visit us. They have completed lots of tests and are not sure if anyone will be able to help them. That is why we start by listening. We gather insights from your experiences and available records. Then, we work with you to develop a practical path forward. Our goal is to provide short-term relief while moving towards a long-term solution to your TMJ / TMD pain and dysfunction. Together, we can get there.
Custom Intra Oral Splints
A Splint is custom-made for each patient and provides relief by allowing the chewing muscles to relax and create a new comfortable bite. In most cases, the process takes 4-6 months.
Orthodontics
Misalignment of your teeth and jaws can be a “hidden” cause of your TMJ pain. Dr. Homsi is uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat TMJ, then combine orthodontic tooth movement into a TMJ solutions.
Occlusal Equilibration
The process of conservatively reshaping the teeth to balance the bite forces and allow the teeth to come into contact at the same time for optimal function.
